In Korean, 들 (deul) means wild and 풀 (pul) means greens. Deulpul Kimchi is a celebration of that wild, growing-everywhere spirit — humble ingredients, transformed by time, salt, and care into something alive.

The Northwest’s premier celebration of pickles and live ferments — affectionately known as “Stinkfest” — hosted at Ecotrust’s Irving Street Studio in the Pearl District.

2025 · June
Portland Pickles Fermentation Night
A night of “kraut-standing” baseball at Walker Stadium — we joined the fermentation vendors at the Portland Pickles game, sharing kimchi between innings.

2024 · October
Portland Fermentation Festival
Our first year sampling alongside professional and amateur makers at the city’s beloved annual gathering of fermented food and drink.
